Hashtag 59 Social Media Travel Impacts Podcast

What used to be just a funny sign at a roadside coffee shop can now be posted online with a review, its pinned location on a map, and a tag to that business or person. Good or bad?

Welcome back to the Hashtag 59 podcast!

First a reminder: Our long form podcasts are now released on the last day of each month.
We also are doing shorter form podcast profiles of our guests prior to each release!

This month we discuss the impact that social media has made, and will continue to make, on the outdoor adventure and travel world. We discuss examples of great wins, opportunities, and also perhaps the con’s that it has and will continue to have.

Mike R and Amy K are joined by resident contributor to our blog Seth B the Modern Day Explorer and by outdoor adventure One80OutSupply owner Wes A. It’s a great collaboration with many different thoughts, angles, and viewpoints to discuss the topic and we are confident you’ll learn and perhaps have different perspective to social media as it relates to adventure and travel than you previously had.

We hope you enjoy the Getting Kids Outside Podcast! Special thanks to Hopewell Works our recording sponsor!
