Hi! Mike here. I co-founded Hashtag59 with my great friend Amy K in 2018.
Before, during, and after the launch of Hashtag59 I have been a writer and a content creator.

Rumor has it that I was born an adventurer with dirt in my fingernails and sand between my toes. Double check that rumor with my Mom.

I have written five books, hundreds of articles on this website and other sites, helped launch a road trip travel app led by individual creators, was a co-producer of an ultra running relay race documentary, have visited all 50 US States, all US National Parks in the lower 48 of the US, 35 countries, section hiked 1,200 miles of the Appalachian Trail, SLOWLY section hiking the Pacific Crest Trail, have been to the Roof of Africa, the bottom of the Grand Canyon, hosted 60 plus trash cleanup events, volunteer(s) and donated to numerous non-profits and organizations around the globe with similar visions, and been a nomad on the road for over four years.

I am available for-hire as a freelance outdoor and travel writer and as a UGC Content Creator. My availability is for outdoor adventure, nomad life, dog themed, yoga/meditation, and road trip travel companies/websites that are inclusive and interested in making these sectors more accessible to all beings on this planet.
