Angie H's family grew up in Greece and it's a country she has often visited to celebrate special family moments, bringing friends from the states over, and so much more! The Hashtag 59 crew has a standing invite to come over there with her and we can't wait to take her up on that offer! In this article we go Touring Greece Like a Local!

Enter Angie H:
For a small tour on the north eastern coast of Greece, alongside the Aegean Sea, I start this journey to the suburbs of Thessaloniki, Greece (Second largest city in Greece), the town of Giannista (which is my hometown 30 mins West of Thessalonki), Pella (the birthplace and ruins of Alexander the Great...which is just about 7mins further than our house), and the fabulous beaches along the coast of Thessaloniki in the region that is called Halkidiki. 

The main pedestrian street or to say in greek, (pes-oh-thromo) the road of people, is off limits to cars and offers a day or night stroll by many shops, cafes, restaurants and lounges for people pf all ages. It is the heart of the entertainment area here.
